Meet Wynnie :
The Heart Behind ZIL Career Avenue

Hi, I’m Wynnie: Chicago-based Certified Workforce Development Professional and Career Strategy Coach.
I learned the hard way that staying comfortable in one job is a luxury most of us can’t afford.
With the COVID19 onslaught it hit me; companies own the job, but I own my career.
I needed the mindset shift to embrace the reality that no job has a future, only people do. Instead of waiting for the next disruption, I started identifying what I could control: my vision, skills, network, strategy, and how I positioned myself in the market.
That’s why I do what I do now.

I help people explore their potential and reclaim ownership of their careers so they’re ready for the unknowns.

Originally from Uganda I bring several years’ experience across multiple service industries. Having successfully navigated these transitions, I understand firsthand how to leverage transferable skills for strategic career pivots.

Rooted in Christian faith, I bring integrity, empathy, and resilience to every conversation. I welcome professionals from all backgrounds to pursue careers that reflect who they truly are with clarity and courage.
